Give the AI a bounded task

Specific requests are easier to evaluate than “make everything impressive.” Name the section, explain what needs to change, and state any facts that must remain untouched.

If a bullet lacks context, add the real context before asking for a rewrite. AI can organize an explanation, but it should not be the source of a new employer, qualification, result, or responsibility.

Accept wording, not unverified evidence

Compare each proposed achievement with the original. Look for changed ownership, unsupported metrics, and stronger verbs that overstate the work. Keep the original when the revision no longer describes your contribution.
